Sargon Engineering has the process expertise and resources to ably assist with the development of gold projects.
Our team has the following prior experience with respect to gold processing:
- Creation of a SysCAD model of a POX autoclave to reconcile pilot plant data to the process reaction scheme and process conditions ( for DevMin).
- Creation of a full METSIM model with accompanying flowsheets for a gold process based on the design described by Stange, W. “The process design of gold leaching and carbon-in-pulp circuits”, JSAIMM, Jan/Feb 1999. Client confidential.
- Development of an in-house gold processing METSIM model and flowsheets, along with the compilation of a robust body of literature and reference material related to gold processing options. The METSIM model includes comminution, leaching, elution, carbon regen and utilities. Refer link below for an example PFD. We are able to modify this METSIM model to suit a client’s specific needs, then produce a set of gold plant design criteria and a mass balance.
