Project Overview
Sargon Engineering is providing process engineering services to Vale, to assist in developing a process for synthetic rutile production. This forms part of Vale’s development of the Tapira mineral deposit (pictured above).

Sargon Engineering has created a robust process model for SR production at Tapira, using METSIM, which delinieates all the various unit operations and the associated stream data.
Notable Results
Sargon Engineering has developed a comprehensive block flow diagram, which clearly communicates the the process design, along with all the utilities and auxiliary services required to support the main process.
